I am a highly motivated and self-driven computer network management student interested in gaining valuable work experience in an industrial placement.  With my previous employment business experience and the new skills I am acquiring in my degree I can offer a potential employer strong business acumen, teamwork experience and dedication.

Currently in the third year of my degree where my average marks is 70%.

I am currently attending optional lectures given by Cisco certified Lecturer to allow me to take the CCNA certification. I aim to have this completed before the end of this university year.

This role consists in providing advice and support to students on the University’s IT Systems such as network configurations, the utilisation and configuration of FTP clients, VPN and Web proxies and guidance on general matters as well as technical support to student devices

Day to day duties included employee management, customer service, accounts, cash management, responsible for computer, technical equipment, technological invesment and website design maintenance. Demonstrated skills of problem solving, dealing customer queries,coordination of different departments and self-confident about making decisions. Work independently, setting my own deadlines, managing my time under pressure and adaptable to new changes. Achieved on season 2008/2009 a gross sales increase of 220% compared to the previous year.

2007- Jun 2009                Partner/ Website Management, Groop.es (www.groop.es), Málaga, Spain

Became a partner in a second business developing and selling websites, their maintenance and management of marketing on-line campaigns. Supervised the assurance of customer satisfaction, meeting project deadlines, provided technical solutions to a range of customer needs and acted as the project and team co-ordinator as most of our staff were located off site

OTHER EXPERIENCE

March 2010-Present         Volunteer / Organiser,  Institution of Engineering and Technology

Enrolled program dedicated to organising events about technological subjects for the general interest of students. Task involved planning and advertising the events within the university. Achieved two events and have scheduled three more.

Sep 2010                             Orientation Assistant, International Office, University of Portsmouth

Tasks included checking-in new arrivals, guiding students through the important information, supporting new students in general matters, and partaking in administrative duties required by the International Office staff. I was privileged to be selected for a prize for the most outstanding advisor.

Responsible for serving customer and making and taking reservations as well as cash management.
